This project was about using typefaces to explore and create compositions that had a sense of hierarchy. I created 6 compositions with one character from each of the 7 typefaces I explored: Fette Fraktur, Stempel Garamond, Bauer Bodoni, Rockwell, Futura, Helvetica, and Platelet. Then, I used the single letter compositions from each typeface to create an original poster.
Above is the composition that I presented. I did it in a cyan, magenta, and yellow color scheme. I tried to make the visual hierarchy very clear whilst the colors were all visually balanced.
